Interior design led to event design for Steph, Geneva Lake native and fearless leader of the Parker Drive Event Co. team!
Steph is a wife and mom with an affinity for making the “everyday” something unique and special. (There’s no such thing as “doing it halfway” or “keeping it simple.” She just won't allow it!) Steph grew up around the hospitality business, with her family owning two fine dining restaurants that were host to many lakeside weddings each summer. She credits her accomplished event planning mother for influencing her love of over the top parties -- a pony at her first birthday, baby ducks at her third, 50’s themes, high tea, and a panel of judges and performances for an American Idol theme during her middle school years are a few honorable “extra” mentions, but charity benefits were her specialty.
Steph attended an all girls boarding prep school where she had her first internship in the marketing and event planning department of living history museum, but went on to study international business, cosmetology, and accounting, before finally finding her niche in design school. She established Parker Drive in 2016 as a residential stylist, but after her wedding was featured multiple times online and in print, she was approached to delve into the world of events.
With three seasons as a design specialist for a Lake Geneva wedding planner under her belt, the addition of the rental division was a natural, and fitting, move that blended her two worlds. She brings her knowledge of furniture, color theory, scale, and styling techniques, as well as full service wedding design experience, to benefit Parker Drive’s rental and design clients. Steph is the woman behind the emails, the curated inventory, the thoughtfully designed weddings + photo shoots, social media, marketing, quotes, delivery scheduling and more! And while she may be the quietest of the crew, she has a big heart, a permanent smile, and can’t wait to put her creativity to work for you!

During the week, Tyler is a craft beer sales rep in Milwaukee & Lake Geneva, but when Friday hits -- he’s the one loading up and delivering all of the pretty things! (Or building custom orders. Tap wall anyone?)
Out of high school he spent time cooking in a fine dining kitchen, and once in awhile he’ll even flex these skills at home! He also served in banquets at a local resort for 4 years and spent 2 years in A/V, so he definitely knows his way around a wedding. (This is where he met our designer, Andra!) Most importantly, Parker Drive Event Co. would not have existed without him! When Steph first heard about the rental company opportunity she was skeptical. Putting more stake in the event industry during a worldwide pandemic? But Tyler is a dreamer, a do-er, and a big fan of taking a gamble. (He also really believes in his wife.) While it felt like endless hurdles to make it happen, he was ALL in.
Tyler’s ideal party is ordering pizza and throwing a game on tv. Maybe some taco dip if he’s feeling squirrelly.

Andra grew up in a small suburb in northern Illinois, but now lives in the windy city of Chicago. Andra is an Event Design Specialist and the newest member of Parker Drive Event Co. She is the one who helps turn her clients dreams and Pinterest boards into real life.
Andra spends her time carefully pulling design elements that match her client’s vision, adding in her creative touch, and delivering a beautifully tailored design that is genuinely one-of-a-kind. From a young age, she knew that events were her passion. After studying Public Relations in college, she shifted her focus to the hospitality industry where she discovered her love for event planning, design, and styling. When she’s not flexing her creative muscle, she’s either cracking jokes, planning her next vacation (itinerary and all), hanging out with her besties, or cooking up something delicious in the kitchen.
Andra’s light-hearted energy and fun personality adds to any joyous occasion. She’ll definitely keep your spirits lifted during the wedding planning process!

“I am passionate about not only designing beautiful events, but creating unforgettable experiences for my couples and their guests! My team and I are here to take your inspiration and turn it into something better than you had even imagined. We take the guesswork out of your event design, so there’s no more wondering if all of the pieces will come together-- we’ll make sure they do! I’m always eager to push the envelope and try something I haven’t seen before, and staying until all of the guests sit at the reception on wedding day is a must! Getting to see you enjoy, and be “in” the space we created, makes it all worthwhile. I’m a “work from home” mom, and my daughter Haven, is my muse! So if you call on Wednesdays, or after five, you may hear her chime in with her two cents on your linens.
This past year we self contracted our new home build which has been a passion project 4 years in the making. We are SO close to completion, and anxious to move in! I would say my very favorite things are making a home feel like home, a warm cup of tea, planning a get together, great conversation, hearing my daughter laugh, cookies, taking photos, notes on paper, fresh flowers on the counter, a long walk by the lake or on a trail, trying a new restaurant or coffee shop, and friends who feel like family.”
“Life’s too short to have boring parties…at least that’s my motto! Growing up, I never knew what I wanted to be until my mom asked me what I liked to do. I said, “well…I like to party.” So that’s what I did; I became a professional partier! By day, I am a Meetings and Events Manager for a healthcare company and by night, I am an Event Design Specialist for Parker Drive Event Co.
I guess you can say I get to have my cake and eat it, too (no pun intended). What I love most about event planning is working with my clients to understand their vision, bring their vision to life, and successfully deliver a flawless experience. I think the cherry on top would be the reaction on their face after first seeing the final product. Not only do I get to share in the joy of planning their special day, but I get to also take part in creating memories that will last a lifetime.“
